Our family has been following its passion for three generations. In 1968, Sotirios and Fani Gikas laid the foundations for today’s business in the Frankfurt “am Brühl” area, which includes the Karl Street, Mosel Street and Nidda Street – then the centre of the German fur trade. In those days, almost exclusively “blocked” full fur hats left the store in accordance with the market conditions of that time.

In those days, almost exclusively “blocked” full fur hats left the store in accordance with the market conditions of that time.
The company was taken over by the founders’ daughter Konstantina and her husband Panagiotis in the 1980s.
In the 1990s, the company moved its headquarters to the iconic Nidda Street. The proximity to the industry and important fur suppliers were decisive in the decision to move to this place where many furriers and fur dealers can still be found today. In 2003, our company moved into its own larger business premises in order to meet the market requirements regarding capacity and incoming orders.
We have always stood out for our love to the furrier trade, for competent and individual customer service as well as for producing collections that are in line with the current trends. Since the beginning, our product range has consistently expanded – new shapes have originated from the combination of leather and fabrics. In addition, fur accessories have increasingly gained importance – scarves, collars, muffs or pompoms – the variety is immense.
We have managed to maintain a balance to the retailers by manufacturing for renowned global companies in the textile trade. Our clientele spans the entire globe – we serve clients in numerous places, including Paris, Milan, New York, Copenhagen, Seoul, Hong Kong, Reykjavik, Moscow and Dubai.
Now in the hands of the third generation, the owners’ children Fani und Lazaros have also joined the family business to consistently further the tradition of the company as well as bringing new, creative ideas to life.
Thanks to the trust of our clients acquired over the many years of our existence, the positive sales success of our products and our customer-friendly service, we have become an integral part of today’s fur trade in the area of “hats & accessories”
